Google Tag Manager Alternative
Your tracking can't silently disappear anymore.
TracerKit manages your pixels outside your codebase, verifies every event actually fires, and alerts you the moment something breaks — instead of ten days later.

the problem
Your tags break quietly. You find out from a bad quarter.
A merge conflict once deleted our analytics script. Nobody noticed for ten days — ten days of decisions made on missing data. It's the most common tracking failure there is, and nothing warns you.
A merge deletes a pixel — and nothing tells you.
Tracking scripts live in your code, one careless merge away from vanishing. You find out weeks later, staring at a hole in your data.
“No developer needed” stops being true fast.
Every tag tool promises marketer independence, then breaks at the first dataLayer, consent gate, or SPA route change.
Meta says one number, Shopify says another.
Your platforms disagree and you can’t tell who’s right — so you make ad decisions on data you don’t trust.
what you get
Everything your tags do, in plain sight.
Tag managers let you move without deploys. TracerKit also proves it's all still working — and keeps it delivering.
tag manager
Config lives outside your repo
Every pixel managed from the dashboard — load strategy, triggers, consent gating. Changes go live without a deploy, and a merge conflict can't delete what was never in your code.
version control
Versioned like code. Safer than code.
Every edit, toggle, and delete is recorded — who, when, and exactly what changed. Revert a bad edit in one click, or resurrect a deleted tag exactly as it was. A merge can't do that.
verification
See every tag actually firing
Per-tag health with 24-hour sparklines. Not "the script is on the page" — the events themselves, counted and verified down to purchase values.
alerting
Hear about silence in minutes
The moment a tag stops firing, TracerKit opens an alert and tells you in Slack or email — then resolves it automatically when the beacons come back.
reconciliation
Your numbers, checked against theirs
TracerKit compares what it observed on your site against what Meta and PostHog claim they received, and flags drift past your threshold — so you argue with numbers, not hunches.
delivery
Survives blockers. Lands server-side.
Serve scripts through your own domain so domain blocklists have nothing to match, and forward conversions server-side to Meta, Google, and TikTok for match quality the browser can't reach.
how it works
Live in three steps.
One snippet, every tag
Paste the loader once. Every pixel, analytics script, and tracking snippet is managed from a dashboard — outside your git repo, where a bad merge can’t touch it.
Verify every fire
TracerKit watches each tag in production: loaded, fired, with the right value. Plain-English health, not raw JSON logs.
Reconcile against the platforms
Every hour, what TracerKit observed is compared against what Meta and PostHog report. Drift is a fact you see, not a mystery you debug.

questions
Asked and answered.
Will it slow down my site?+
The loader is under 2KB gzipped and loads async. Your tag config is served from the edge, so there’s no round-trip to a slow origin. It never blocks your page from rendering.
Do I really not need a developer?+
Paste one snippet once. After that, every tag — how it loads, when it fires, consent rules — is managed from the dashboard. No redeploys to add or change a pixel.
What happens if TracerKit goes down?+
The loader fails open: if it can’t reach us, it simply does nothing and your page loads normally. Config is edge-cached, so a blip never breaks your site.
Is my data safe?+
Destination credentials are encrypted at rest. TracerKit records event metadata to verify firing — it isn’t a data broker and doesn’t sell or share what it sees.
What sites does it work on?+
Anything that serves HTML: Next.js, Webflow, Framer, Squarespace, WordPress, or a hand-coded site. It’s built for the modern marketing stack, not just Shopify.
Can I try it without paying?+
Yes. The Loader tier is free forever, and the health-check scan needs no signup at all — point it at any URL and see what’s installed.
