Tracking Health Check

Scan any page for tracking scripts — dead pixels, render-blocking tags, duplicates, and double-counting risks. Free, no signup.

what the sweep checks

21 tracking vendors, one pass.

The sweep fetches the page you enter and reads its HTML the way a crawler would. It recognizes tag managers, analytics, ad pixels, heatmaps and email tools by their script URLs and install snippets, then checks how each one is installed.

It's a static scan, so tags injected later (by Google Tag Manager, for example) won't appear, and it can't see events fire. Watching real fires on real traffic is what verification does.

✓

What's installed

Every recognized tag manager, analytics tool, ad pixel, heatmap and email script on the page.

✓

Dead weight

Legacy tags that no longer do anything, like Universal Analytics, which stopped processing data in July 2023.

✓

Render-blocking loads

Script tags without async or defer that hold up the page from painting.

✓

Duplicate installs

The same vendor loaded more than once, which usually sends every event twice.

✓

GTM double-counting risk

Google Tag Manager next to a hardcoded GA4 tag or Meta Pixel, a common source of inflated numbers.

✓

Server-side readiness

How exposed the page is to ad blockers, and whether conversions have a path that doesn't depend on the browser.

questions

Asked and answered.

Is the tracking health check really free?+

Yes. There's no signup and no limit beyond a rate limit that keeps the scanner from being abused. Point it at any public URL.

Why doesn't it find a tag I know is there?+

Most likely the tag is added at runtime, usually by Google Tag Manager or a consent tool, so it isn't in the HTML the scan reads. The scan will still show GTM itself.

Can it tell me whether my conversions are tracking?+

No. It checks how tags are installed, not whether events fire. TracerKit's Verification tier watches each tag on real traffic and alerts you when one goes silent.
