Snap Pixel checker
Check if the Snap Pixel is installed on your site, flag duplicate or render-blocking loads, and verify events with Snap Pixel Helper.
Scans the page's HTML in seconds. It also reports every other tracking script it finds.
about Snap Pixel
Why it breaks quietly.
The Snap Pixel loads from sc-static.net and initializes with snaptr('init') and your pixel ID. It reports page views and events like PURCHASE so Snapchat ads can attribute and optimize.
It is easy to set up once and forget. When a checkout change removes the purchase call or a second install doubles events, Snapchat's reporting shifts and nothing on the site shows an error.
what the free scan checks
Whether Snap Pixel is in the page
The scan fetches the page's HTML and matches the vendor's script URL and install snippet.
Whether it blocks rendering
A script tag without async or defer delays the page from painting. Marketing scripts never need to.
Whether it's installed more than once
Duplicate installs usually send every event twice and inflate conversions.
How exposed the page is to blockers
A server-side readiness grade: whether tags load from domains blocklists target, and whether conversions have a server-side path.
It reads the HTML, so tags injected later (inside GTM, for example) don't show up, and it can't see events fire. That's what verification is for.
common failures
How Snap Pixel goes dark.
PURCHASE events without price or currency
Snap needs price and currency on purchase events to report revenue. Without them conversions count but return on ad spend stays empty.
Events tracked before init
A snaptr('track') call that runs before snaptr('init') has no pixel to report to and is lost.
The pixel is installed twice
A store integration and a hardcoded snippet both load the pixel, so each event goes out twice.
Browser and Conversions API events are not deduplicated
If you also send server events, both need the same client dedup ID or Snap counts each conversion twice.

questions
Asked and answered.
Can this check tell me if Snap Pixel events are firing?+
No. The free check scans served HTML for the Snap Pixel script and flags duplicates and render-blocking loads. It cannot see a pixel loaded through GTM or confirm events reach Snapchat. TracerKit's Verification tier watches real fires and alerts when a tag goes silent.
Why does Snapchat show no purchases?+
Check that the PURCHASE call exists on the order confirmation step, runs after init, and uses the same pixel ID as your ad account.
Do ad blockers affect the Snap Pixel?+
Yes. Its domains are on common block lists, so some visitors never send events. Snap's Conversions API helps recover those.
