questions
Asked and answered.
Is the tag manager really free?+
Yes. The Loader tier manages unlimited tags per site with load-strategy, trigger and consent control, and it stays free. You pay when you want proof those tags work: health, alerts and reconciliation.
How does the free trial work?+
Every paid tier starts with a 14-day trial with no card required. At the end you choose to keep it, or the site returns to the free Loader tier. Nothing is charged automatically.
Is pricing per site or per account?+
Per site. Each site can sit on its own tier, so a high-traffic store can run server-side while a docs site stays on the free loader. Agencies can lift every client site at once with the Agency plan.
Do you meter events or conversions?+
No. Each tier is a flat monthly price per site. A big sale day never turns into a surprise bill, which is the usual complaint about server-side tracking priced per request.
What happens to my tags if I downgrade?+
They keep loading. Downgrading turns off the paid layer (verification, the proxy, or server-side forwarding) but the tags you manage in the dashboard keep running on the free loader.
Can I switch tiers later?+
Yes, from the site's page in the dashboard. Each tier includes everything below it, so moving up only adds capabilities.
Start with the free loader. Upgrade when it earns it.
